With „You Are Warmly Invited“ (YAWI) we want to talk about the status of our work together.
The concept was developed by Alisa Hecke and Angelika Waniek to enable artists at different points in time to come into exchange about the respective work status. The aim of this exchange is to take different perspectives on the work, e.g. as an audience member, stage designer, expert, etc. The constructive and critical exchange of ideas and experiences is a key element of the project. The constructive and critical exchange about developments and realizations is promoted in this format. Above all, the exchange between the generations of artists is to be strengthened with this discussion format. In addition, the view of one‘s own work is to be broadened through an in-depth examination of central themes.
