“Hullu apina” (Finnish: crazy ape) is a scenic engagement with drugs and their influence on society. All people consume. They do so at different places, for different reasons, with different people, at different times, and they consume a variety of substances. But they all consume. That appears necessary to keep the world in balance.
The piece is a scenic concept album. It elucidates the individual facets of a consuming, selling, producing, and detoxing society, bringing unexpected facts about psychoactive substances to light.
