JAZZFESTIVAL 2022

2022
Th—Sa

On the last weekend in February, the traditional Bremer festival for modern jazz, improvisation, avant-garde, and everything in between again features loads of exciting music. On Thursday, the stage belongs to ›Jugend Jazzt‹ showcasing formations of young talents from the city’s music workgroups, workshops and practice rooms. Presentations of last year’s award-winning bands round off the evening dedicated young musicians. On Friday and Saturday, the audience can expect a stylistically broad range of regional and national jazz acts. The festival obliged to musical diversity presents constellations and premieres created especially for the festival, as well as cross-genre projects. Radio Bremen Zwei regularly records the concerts and broadcasts them in the following months.
