The bar is open and the mike is free: We’re opening the foyer of the Schwankhalle for a karaoke night. Every edition will be shaped and moderated by a different host—each with their own style and selection of songs, along with a special drink. The second edition is presented by Jed Nagales (Of Curious Nature).
The motto in December is »Jingle & Mingle«! Come together for a festive night of karaoke, where Christmas classics meet pop anthems, evergreens, and guilty pleasures. Bring your friends, make some new ones, and step into the spotlight whether you can hit the high notes or just hit the right mood. It’s not about perfection, but about good vibes, grand choruses, and the joy of singing together!

Jed Nagales is a Filipino performing artist based in Germany, with a background in contemporary dance and a strong love for music, performance, and creating connections with an audience. His work is driven by musicality, movement, humour, and the joy of being in the moment.
Whether on stage or behind the microphone, Jed enjoys creating spaces where people can feel comfortable enough to let go and have fun. For his karaoke night, he brings a playful and energetic approach to hosting, encouraging everyone to embrace their song choice, enjoy the moment, and not take themselves too seriously.
