„MUHR#02“ is a concert for three pianos and modular synthesizers, composed by Luis Codera Puzo (*1981) from Barcelona. The premiere of the one-hour drone piece is performed by the Ensemble New Babylon. What awaits the audience Is an imposing mass of sound enlivened by a variety of textures. Beforehand, we will also hear a condensation of sound in the five-minute „Vers la flamme, Op. 72“ for solo piano by Alexander Scriabin from 1914. Here, the sound strives „toward the flame“ in a crescendo - it is said that Scriabin was convinced that the earth would heat up until it destroyed itself.
