A tower of tracksuit tops with legs, a golden creature with a button, and a walking fancy: Welcome to the monster family! Four dancers disappear inside crazy costume objects of which it is hard to say where top and bottom, head and legs are. This monster family makes itself at home in a landscape of cardboard boxes and shapes the world according to its own rules of the game. The costumes of the individual monsters reveal a lot about their characters and possibilities of movement. They double and multiply in a chaotic manner, sorting themselves anew and wearing the costumes upside down or inside out. Monstrosity, just like the impossible and foreign, are themes with which the Berlin-based Scottish choreographer Colette Sadler deals in her pieces for adults as well.
