Dance for people aged 3 and older
Dance, puppetry and live music are the ingredients of this dance theater piece that accompanies a little elephant though life. Two musicians and a dancer meet an elephant who was born under special circumstances. He is constantly faced with new challenges. He learns how to have trust and make friends with others to overcome obstacles. A piece on growing up and developing, on change and friendships that make the impossible possible. One grows out of one’s clothes, is suddenly too heavy to be carried, and finally carries things oneself: responsibility, decisions, one’s own children.
The piece is also about the end of life, prepared for a young audience, because the elephant doesn’t simply go away, he transforms and thus stays with us.
