Concert
Adir Jan crosses borders and builds bridges: between Occident and Orient, between genders, between hearts and souls. With his Cosmopolitan Kurdesque, the Berlin-based singer-songwriter has the finger on the pulse in a time when the relationship between the universal and traditional is playing an increasingly important role. Themes such as love, homophobia, war, and colonialism are musically addressed in a poetic way and from a gay-migrant perspective. Traditional motifs from the Near and Middle East mixed with international rock, pop and a touch of psychedelia create a revolutionary sound that stands up against any kind of oppression.
