From the avalanche ballad to the hunger hymn, from analytic disco via narrative circus to emancipation rhumba, from militant pop to minimal pop, from euphoric techno to folk songs – a musical roundel is set in motion. In daring trajectories, Les Reines Prochaines channel images of laborers through communist and capitalist filters, enriching them with personalities from their family albums and overwriting them with projections of bright future prospects. From ideology to choreography, from I to we, from we to I. Those who are not isolated are not poor!

After having regularly performed in Bremen in the past, Les Reines Prochaines now celebrate their 30th anniversary as a collective with their discursive revue on three consecutive evenings at the Schwankhalle!
