»We are here, around you, at the end of it all«

(Alex Franz Zehetbauer: Waves of Bodies)

For a period of one year, singers of the Schwankcore ↗, in five compositions, have mourned the social, ecological and emotional consequences of climate change, protested against them and invoked social cohesion. On World Water Day on March 22, Jessica Fritz (Hafenmuseum Bremen, international network Polisea) will talk with the choir director Mara Hebel, the Schwankcore singer Lys Salecker, Uli Wischnath (climactivity), Florian Franz (Hanse Wasser) about whether artistic projects like »Songs of Rising and Sinking« ↗ can help us deal with the drastic consequences of climate change in a different way.
