Journaling Workshop with Lena Whoo
Journaling can be a form of creative autobiographic and/or fictive writing - in the WTH-Workshops the focus is set on processing personal experiences and strengthen your relationship with yourself. Together we’ll create a safe space that allows us to deep dive into of our own selves; self reflection is key to keeping up the journaling practice.
We will have different focuses on self reflection and writing, so that everyone will leave the workshop with the tools at hand that they desire. These tools help to write down troubles, worries and hardships off our souls in everyday life and later on - this will make it easier to talk about the emotional baggage we oftentimes just carry around. In other words - these journaling methods are trying to help start feeling and healing processes.
We usually get into very warm, understanding and meaningful conversations about ourselves. Nobody has to share what is being written in the workshop - anyone is welcome tho to share anything they like in the safe space we’re creating together. This workshop is tryi by to create a safer space for QTIBIPOCs - so we’ll talk about what it means to be an ‚Individual of color‘ in this mainly white society.
The workshop will be held in English and/or german, according to our needs.
Open for W*/QTBIPoCs. If you register, please write in 2-3 lines, how you position yourself and you’re your expectations and hopes are concerning the write to heal workshop

A film by Nevline Nnaji
Through the personal stories of several former black female Civil Rights activists, Reflections Unheard: Black Women in Civil Rights unearths the lesser-known story of black women’s political marginalization between the male-dominated Black Power movement, and the predominantly white and middle class Feminist movement during the 1960s and 70s, as well as the resulting mobilization of black and other women of color into a united Feminist movement.
