Concert
Once a month on Sunday afternoon, we invite visitors to coffee, cake and a concert in the foyer of the Schwankhalle: free of charge, playful and rich in calories. The concerts presented by a small lineup are from various genres and places—from singer-songwriter to pop-drag-grunge, from Dada post-industrial pop to No Wave, from noise to psychedelic.
The start is made by Doc Schoko, whose fifth album, »Skulpturen für die Flaschenpost«, has turned out surprisingly melodious. During the Corona pandemic, Doc Schoko produced a pure DIY album in close collaboration with his partner Kristina. The stories of the songs are reminiscent of Serge Gainsbourg, Lee Hazlewood or Baxter Dury, albeit in a home studio variant.
