Graphic novel reading
In ›Valentin‹, Jens Genehr tells the story of a huge arms project that led to more than 1.000 forced laborers from throughout Europe dying during its implementation. His graphic novel published by the Bremer Golden Press is based on film recordings and photographs by Johann Seubert, who documented the construction of the submarine bunker for the National Socialists in Bremen Farge, as well as on the diary entries of Raymond Portefaix, who as a youth was deported from the French village of Murat to Bremen Nord and as concentration camp prisoner wound up on the construction site of the bunker.
