Talk session at
»brynja – Raum für Psyche und Gesundheit«
Tausend Tode Festival
To canapés and coffee, we would like to review the »Tausend Tode« festival. We will meet at our new neighbor’s, »brynja – Raum für Psyche und Gesundheit« at Buntentorsteinweg 73. Together with the founder, Janna Rohloff, artists of the festival and interested festival visitors, we will talk about our impressions and our existing or still lacking rituals of dealing with death and dying.
What is brynja?
In a former car repair shop, Janna Rohloff and two other founders along with her dog Rudi have created a place they describe as »a combination of cultural center and fitness studio for the mind«. brynja organizes courses, seminars and workshops on the topic of mental health and provides information on the existing help network in Bremen. Brynja was the name of Janna Rohloff’s deceased mother and in Scandinavian languages means »protection« and »armor«.
