The choreographer Eva Meyer-Keller is at the Schwankhalle for the third time, on this occasion with the fine artist Uta Eisenreich. In “Things on a table,” they arrange objects of everyday use on a table. Various genres, from Vanitas still lifes to contemporary advertising photography, are blurred before the eyes of the audience—and the camera lens—by means of light, reflections and special effects. One hears Gertrude Stein’s “Objects Lie On A Table” from 1922, an attempted play on still lifes, as well as sound landscapes by Katrin Hahner. Between the levels of language, sound, and image, ever new connections emerge, to then dissolve again and make room for the next association.
