›Das Paplament‹ is part of a multi-year exchange between the Gießen-based collective Mobile Albania and the Budapest artists’ tribe Pneuma Szöv. Since 2012 the two groups having been traveling with a wooden donkey under the name ›Pap-Familie‹ through cities such as Leipzig and Budapest, gathering citizens, activists, and decision-makers on squares and in theaters to negotiate urgent issues in the Paplament, a forum held in the evenings. Whether it is poverty, urban planning, or freedom of speech—what, who, and where the focus will be on in Bremen is announced at short notice.
